For Fårbo Manufacturing, structured business development is also needed. This is done through the introduction of smart digital solutions, which are directly crucial to being at the forefront and meeting high customer demands. And here Fårbo has come a long way.
At the end of January this year, Mikael, pictured right, was the keynote speaker at a seminar in Brussels attended by EU Commissioner Roxana Minzatu, whose responsibilities include skills and quality jobs.
Mikael’s main message was that over a two-year period, Fårbo’s productivity increased by more than 100%, while revenue increased by more than 200% with the help of digitalization and AI. Another positive effect was the reduction of stress throughout the company.
The work on digitization within Fårbo continues, with examples such as automatic loading of orders via e-mail, better management of customers’ materials, better and simpler digital execution plans, clearer management of own order types for outcomes and research orders, and much more.
